RED WINE VINEGAR MIGNONETTE

Description

A perfect accoutrement to your dozen oysters on the half shell, this red wine vinegar mignonette sauce is easy to make. Serve in a little ramekin either on the side or on the platter with the oysters.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 tbs crushed coarse black peppercorns
  • 2 tbs minced shallots
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar

 


Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.

  2. Let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.

  3. Serve in a little ramekin with a small serving spoon together with the platter of oysters on the half shell.
